CLEARWATER, Fla., Feb. 13, 2020 – The University of South Florida softball team lost its St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational opener to No. 16 Oklahoma State, 5-1. The Bulls late comeback attempt fell short after scoring in the sixth and loading the bases in the seventh.
Oklahoma State (3-2) jumped out to an early lead, bringing three runs home in the first inning. The Cowgirls then added two more in the third to take a 5-0 lead heading into the fourth inning.
