The 2019-2020 College Basketball Season started on November 5th and USF Men’s andWomen’s Basketball teams played their opening game at Home with the Women’s team taking on Jacksonville University Dolphins to start the night.
The Starting Five for USF Women’s Basketball getting some last minute coaching from Head Coach Jose FernandezTrue Freshman Guard Maria Alvarez played significant minutes for USF, as she totaled 11 points and 5 assists in 27 minutes of action.JUCO Transfer Forward Bethy Mununga had a strong impact inside the paint in her first game, getting 11 points and 12 rebounds in 23 minutes of action.
