TAMPA (July 11, 2022) – University of South Florida product Shane McClanahan was named to the Major League Baseball All-Star Team for the second straight season. The southpaw became the first former Bull named to an All-Star Team last season and was tabbed the American League's starting pitcher for the 2022 game in Los Angeles.
The 2023 All-Stat Game is set for Tuesday, July 11 at 8 p.m. ET in Seattle.
McClanahan may have been in line for the starting role once again this season, but has been sidelined with an injury since June 22.
