TAMPA (November 13, 2024) – On National Signing Day, Perfect Game has released its Class of 2025 recruiting rankings, tabbing the University of South Florida Baseball at No. 25. It marks the program's highest ranking from Perfect Game since landing the No. 3-ranked class in 2015.
USF's 2025 Class is the highest ranked among all teams in the American Athletic Conference. ECU is the next highest at No. 48.
Head coach Mitch Hannahs will embark on his first season at the helm of the South Florida Bulls in 2025. Hannahs, the 2023 ABCA NCAA DI Midwest Region Coach of the Year, was named South Florida's new head coach on June 8, 2024, after guiding Indiana State to 355 wins, six conference titles and five NCAA Regionals from 2014-24.
