TAMPA, Fla., JULY 9, 2018 – Summer ball leagues are rolling on into July, and a fifth USF baseball player has joined a roster.
Junior second baseman JD Dutka (Suwanee, Ga.) is playing in the Sunbelt League for the Norcross Astros, though he has not yet appeared in any games.
Sophomore righty Carson Ragsdale (Wesley Chapel, Fla.) appeared in two games out of the bullpen last week for the Madison Mallards of the Northwoods League. He pitched 2.2 innings, allowing one run with a combined four strikeouts.
