The No. 6 seed South Florida Bulls baseball team knocked off the No. 2 seed Tulane Green Wave 7-1 on Saturday night inside Bay Care Ballpark in Clearwater. They will face Central Florida on Sunday at noon for the AAC tournament championship.
The Bulls got the scoring started early in the first when Jake Sullivan drove in Riley Hogan on a bases-loaded fielder’s choice. USF struck for two more in the second on Carmine Lane’s two-run home run. The Bulls added three more runs in the third behind an infield single by Jarrett Eaton, and two wild pitches that scored runs.
