In the wake of the weekend stabbing death of former Bulls DL Elkino Watson outside an Ybor City nightclub, Coach Willie Taggart has banned his team from the historic entertainment district.
"It's off-limits to our guys," Taggart said Monday on the weekly American Athletic Conference coaches teleconference.
"Tampa is a great city with a lot of great places to go year-round to have fun, so our guys are gonna find other places to go have fun. Ybor will not be one of 'em."
Watson, whose USF career ended last season, was stabbed by a still-unknown assailant shortly after 3 a.
