LINCOLN, NEB., SEPT. 12, 2015 – Several players showed flashes of brilliance for the USF volleyball team Saturday, as the Bulls finished off the Ameritas Players Challenge in Lincoln, Neb. with a loss to UC-Davis, 23-25, 17-25, 21-25.
Eight players recorded at least one kill, and five had at least six, but USF (2-7 overall) couldn't pace a hot-hitting Aggies team, who used a .292 team hitting percentage to topple the Bulls in Saturday's nightcap.
USF nearly survived 10 hitting errors in the first set, coming back from a 15-9 defecit and closing to within just one point three different times late in the set.
