Two years after brutal beating, Marine moving on

In the two years since he was brutally beaten while trying to defend a bullied teen, Wen Jones says he's tried to put the episode behind him.

The retired Marine and father of two tries to avoid the YouTube videos that show him being pummeled into unconsciousness. He tries not to think about the injuries he was left with: a concussion, fracture under his eye and battered face. And though there are lingering after-effects, he says the anger he felt initially has worn off.

It was an attack that grabbed headlines across the country and led to aggravated assault charges for the three 20-year-old men police identified as responsible.
