Rescuers pulled two people from a vehicle that was completely submerged in a canal in Lauderdale Lakes late Saturday night.
No information was immediately available on the condition of the two patients who were placed in ambulances.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded to a neighborhood in the 3300 block of Northwest 40th Street over a report of a vehicle in a canal. A sheriff's helicopter was called to the scene to shine a light on the water and help rescue personnel find the vehicle.
They found the vehicle and pulled the people out of it.
