Two men accused of participating in the beating and rape of a Hollywood girl in 2013 pleaded guilty Wednesday morning and were sentenced as youthful offenders.
Dwight Henry, 18, and Lanel Singleton, 19, reached plea agreements with prosecutors and agreed to testify against the last remaining defendant, Jayvon Woolfork, 20.
Singleton was sentenced to four years in prison as a youthful offender and two years of probation. The same sentence was imposed last month on two female co-defendants who also reached plea deals — Patricia Montes, 17, and Erica Avery, 17.
Henry, who provided a sworn statement to prosecutors before Wednesday's hearing, was sentenced to two years in prison as a youthful offender and four years of probation.
