Two fire stations in Pompano Beach responded to a fire in an industrial neighborhood Friday.
The fire erupted around 11:30 a.m. at 980 SW 12th Avenue, which is also South Andrews Avenue, west of Interstate-95, Pompano Beach Fire Rescue spokeswoman Sandra King said.
"There have been several explosions, including a 50-pound propane tank that exploded and shot across Andrews," King said. "Firefighters had to duck to avoid it."
She said there were no injuries so far.
