TAMPA (October 17, 2023) – The University of South Florida men's tennis team competed at the ITA Southeast Regional from October 12-16 and saw Alvin Tudorica finish as the runner-up in singles action which qualified him for the ITA National Fall Championships in San Diego on November 1-5.
Tudorica's run to the championship match began on Friday, October 13 with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Lucas Olivier from Stetson. On Saturday, he toppled Joao Graca of FAU in a grueling match by scores of 7(9)-6(7), 6(8)-7(10), 6-4. Tudorica continued his winning ways on Sunday with a 6-3, 6-4 triumph over UCF's Mehdi Benchakroun.
