Three vehicles crashed and became sandwiched into a single lane at a toll plaza along Interstate 75 north in Broward County on Tuesday night.
The wreck was reported at 9:13 p.m. and temporarily blocked the three right lanes, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
Ten people were involved in the crash and some had to be freed from their vehicles, Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue spokesman Mike Jachles said.
Seven people who had been traveling in a minivan refused treatment and transport, Jachles said. A woman who had been driving a gray SUV was taken to Memorial Hospital Miramar with minor injuries.
