A former substitute teacher and athletic trainer at Boyd Anderson High School in Lauderdale Lakes will face five additional charges after a third student accused him of having sex with her, police said Tuesday.
Carlos Javier Rojas Paz, 25, of Sunrise, was arrested Thursday on seven counts of sexual assault by a person with custodial authority on a victim between 12 and 18 years of age, court records show. That number rose to 13 on Monday after a second girl came forward.
The latest accuser told police that her relationship with Rojas Paz turned sexual after he began treating her for a sports injury.
