We’re back with the content that most of you have been waiting for... Round of 16 action in THE BREAD BRACKET.
After a tame first round, a few upsets spiced up the second round. Cinnamon swirl bread, mass produced with HFCS and available in grocery store bread aisles everywhere, shocked focaccia to become the lowest seed in the Sweet(bread) 16. Banana bread was the other lower seed to move on, knocking off pan de queso. Beyond that the top seeds survived, but there were some closer than expected victories. Pretzels had to fight off tortillas, which is strange to me because tortillas are not bread.
