When asked Tuesday what concerns him the most about FSU's new backfield duo of QB Everett Golson and TB Dalvin Cook, USF coach Willie Taggart replied candidly:
"Everything about 'em."
Taggart might have good reason to be worried.
In his debut for the 11th-ranked Seminoles, Golson threw for 302 yards and four TDs in Saturday's 59-16 win against Texas State. The graduate transfer from Notre Dame connected with nine different receivers.
Cook, meanwhile, ran for a game-high 156 yards on 19 carries, becoming the first 'Nole since Greg Jones in 2001-02 to record four consecutive 100-yard games.
