It's a call that Bulls fans will condemn for years, maybe generations. Many likely will insist to their grandkids that Auggie Sanchez never targeted FSU QB Everett Golson.
To his credit, Willie Taggart didn't target either.
Instead of going right at the officials (and potentially incurring a fine) in his press conference immediately after the Bulls' 34-14 loss Saturday, Taggart essentially said the ejection of Sanchez -- who must sit out the first half of next week's game at Maryland -- was something the Bulls must accept.
"The ref called it like he thought he saw it," Taggart said.
