So much for Willie Taggart's wandering eye. A day after the USF coach's flirtation with South Carolina, his betrothal to the Bulls was extended.

Athletic director Mark Harlan confirmed via Twitter that Taggart, 39, has reached an agreement on a new five-year deal that will keep him with the school through the 2020 season.

Financial terms weren't immediately available, but it is believed Taggart's assistants salary pool -- currently $1.9 million -- will increase. Taggart, who reportedly interviewed for the South Carolina job Friday, is completing Year 3 of a five-year contract that pays roughly $1.
