An 87-year-old man was flown to the hospital Saturday morning after he fell out of his SUV and it rolled over him, a Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman said.
The man, whose name has not been released, was attempting to back up his Toyota Rav4 at a Century Village retirement community in Boca Raton when he slipped out of the driver’s seat, falling onto the ground, spokeswoman Therese Barbera said. The SUV continued to back up over him.
Following the 9:10 a.m. incident, the man was airlifted to Delray Medical Center, Barbera said. His injuries were unknown.
