VALENTINE, Neb., SEPT. 28, 2015 – USF men’s golf ran away with The Jackrabbit tournament title while Claudio Correa finished as the individual co-champion Monday afternoon.
Powered by a 12-under final round, the Bulls finished at 18-under and 19 shots ahead of Arizona State on the par-72, 7,293-yard Prairie Club Dunes Course. USF was the lone team to finish even par in its second tournament of the fall.
“Any time you win, it’s certainly gratifying and satisfying, but to win after the way we played in our first event showed me a lot about these guys, their character and the way they can bounce back,” head coach Steve Bradley said.
