A Sunrise police officer was relieved of duty with pay after his arrest Sunday on suspicion of domestic violence and assault.
Patrick Gravelle, 41, of Tamarac, is accused of threatening his wife and stepson with a gun.
Gravelle called Broward sheriff's deputies to his home Sunday after arguing with his stepson, according to the arrest report by Deputy Casimiro Navarro.
The stepson, Anthony Gabriel Massaro, lives with his mother Charise Ida Gravelle and Patrick Gravelle. Massaro told deputies that as the Sunrise officer screamed at him to get out of the house, he heard the sound of a bullet being loaded into a firearm and that his stepfather pointed it at him, Navarro's report states.
