The junior catcher led the Bulls with a .500 batting average and four hits during their series with Memphis last weekend. Spivey is in the midst of the best season of her career and leads The American with a .403 batting average, a .741 slugging percentage and a .453 on-base percentage this year.
The Palm Coast, Fla., native also became only the third player in program history to record more than 50 RBIs in a single season after driving in three runs during Saturday’s doubleheader. She ranks 10th all-time on the USF career RBIs list with 119 and only Holly Groves (82) and Carmela Liwag (53) have driven in more runs in a single season for the Bulls.
