TAMPA (March 22, 2023) – University of South Florida women's basketball standout guard Elena Tsineke and forward Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu have been named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-Region 3 Team the organization announced on Wednesday. The duo is now eligible for the WBCA Coaches' All-America Team which will be announced later this month.
This marks the ninth and 10th South Florida players to be named to the WBCA All-Region Team and the third time that the Bulls have had two players named in the same season. Tsineke and Fankam Mendjiadeu join Maria Jespersen and Kitija Laksa who made the list following the 2016-17 and 2017-18 campaigns, which was the last time that South Florida had a player honored.
