South Florida Falls to Central Florida in Regular Season Finale

TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 27, 2022 The University of South Florida women's soccer team fell to the Central Florida Knights on Thursday night in Corbett stadium. The Bulls will be the No. 2 seed in the American Athletic Conference Tournament.

With the No. 2 seed spot on the line, the Bulls came out ready to fight. Defensively, both teams were locked in. In the 16th minute, Central Florida's Dayana Martin found a small window by Sydney Martinez (Rincon, Ga.) and gave the Knights the 1-0 lead.

With the first half winding down, South Florida's Chiara Hahn (Lauterbach, Germany) charged the ball down the field, faked out the Knight's defender for a shot, narrowly going above the goal.
