NEW ORLEANS (January 11, 2025) – The University of South Florida men's basketball team returned to the court for an American Athletic Conference matchup with Tulane on Saturday. led the Bulls with 19 points, but USF fell 73-70.
With the loss, South Florida fell to 9-7 overall and 2-1 in AAC play, while Tulane improved to 9-8 overall and 3-1 in conference action.
The game started as a back-and-forth battle, with four different USF players knocking down shots from the field. The Bulls held an 8-7 lead at the first media timeout.
The Green Wave went on a 7-2 run and took a 14-10 lead with 11:29 left in the first stanza.
