TAMPA, Fla. (September 21, 2023) – The University of South Florida women's soccer team returned to the friendly confines of Corbett Stadium for the American Athletic Conference home opener against Charlotte on Thursday night. The Bulls moved to 4-4-1 overall and 1-0-1 in conference play, while the 49ers moved to 4-3-3 overall and 0-0-2 in league action, with a 0-0 draw.
The Tampa weather reared its head and forced the match to be delayed by an hour and a half.
Once the match got started, recorded a shot on goal in the first three minutes of action, but the Charlotte keeper made the saves.
