TAMPA, AUG. 2, 2019 – Before team preparation for the 2019-20 season begins, six Bulls will showcase their talent on the world stage at the FIBA U20 Women's European Championship and 2019 Women's Pan American Games.
"It's great that our players have been training at the highest level this summer with their respective countries and national teams," head coach Jose Fernandez said. "This is the final piece to all the hard work that all of them have been putting in all summer."
USF will be represented well in the Klatovy, Czech Republic at the FIBA U20 Women's European Championship with five Bulls competing for five different countries – freshman wing Kristyna Brabencova (Czech Republic), sophomore center Beatriz Jordao (Portugal), sophomore point guard Elisa Pinzan (Italy), sophomore wing Luize Septe (Latvia) and freshman guard Elena Tsineke (Greece).
