STORRS, Conn. (Oct. 16, 2016)— The USF women’s soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision to the UConn Huskies Sunday afternoon in Storrs, Conn. The Bulls dropped to 10-2-1, 2-2-1 on the year, while UConn improved to 12-2-1, 5-0-1.
In the 72nd minute, the Bulls would find the back of the net as Gudrun Sigurdardottir netted a beautiful goal on an assist from Andrea Hauksdottir. Sigurdardottir struck from just inside the 18-yard box, bending the ball just past the hands of the UConn keeper.
Stephanie Ribeiro scored two Husky goals in the first half.
