A woman is in custody after she shot her husband to death inside their kitchen Saturday morning after a domestic dispute.
The shooting happened about 8:50 a.m. in the 1900 block of Southwest 46th Terrace, in a working-class and tight-knit neighborhood in unincorporated Fort Lauderdale. The husband was dead at the scene.
Some neighbors said they saw the couple's distraught adult son sitting outside afterwards, talking with police. The neighbors also described the couple as polite and who kept to themselves. The wife would routinely kiss her husband on his way to work.
