A Broward Sheriff's deputy was involved in a shooting Thursday in Pompano Beach, the agency said.
A man's body could be seen behind the wheel of a gray sedan that was stopped at Northeast Thirteenth Terrace and East Sample Road, in a strip mall parking lot.
Deputies arrived there at 8:50 a.m., the sheriff's office said.
The dead man's left foot was on the ground as if he was getting out of the sedan when he was shot. The car is parked in front of a dentist's office.
