Shaun King a candidate to join USF's staff

Former Buccaneers QB Shaun King is believed to be a candidate to join USF's coaching staff, the Tampa Bay Times has learned.

Meantime, 247Sports reported Thursday that offensive line coach/co-offensive coordinator Danny Hope, credited with helping develop the Bulls' successful "Gulf Coast Offense" in 2015, is resigning for family reasons. The school had no official word on Hope early Thursday afternoon.

King, 38, couldn't immediately be reached Thursday. He currently serves as an NFL and college football analyst for Yahoo.
