Former Marshall and College of Charleston coach Tom Herrion reportedly will join Brian Gregory's staff at USF.
CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein, citing an unnamed source, reported Tuesday evening that Gregory will bring on Herrion, who served on his staff at Georgia Tech from 2014-16. Herrion, 49, would join Scott Wagers and Chad Dollar as USF assistants.
A Massachusetts native, Herrion spent this past season as an assistant at TCU, which won the NIT. In eight seasons as a head coach (four each at College of Charleston and Marshall), he compiled a 147-105 mark with three postseason appearances.
