USF receivers coach Ron Dugans reportedly is leaving Tampa after two seasons to join Mark Richt's staff at Miami.
Sports Illustrated was the first to report Friday that Dugans, an FSU wideout in the late 1990s when Richt served as Seminoles offensive coordinator, will join the Hurricanes staff.
He'll replace former UM receiver Kevin Beard, informed Friday morning by Richt that he wouldn't be retained.
A Bengals third-round draft pick in 2000, Dugans had five catches for 99 yards and two TDs in the 2000 BCS national title game, a Sugar Bowl triumph against Virginia Tech.
