Apparently, the momentum of the regular season has spilled over into the recruiting season for Willie Taggart.
Former Auburn DB Mackenro Alexander, who spent this past season at Northeast Mississippi Community College, will enroll at USF this spring. The news was first reported Wednesday by Dane Brugler, an NFL Draft analyst for CBS Sports.
Alexander (5-foot-11, 200 pounds), twin brother of Clemson CB Mackensie Alexander, later tweeted a photo of two helmets and a football bearing the USF logo with the caption, "January !!" presumably indicating when he'll arrive.
A three-star prospect out of Immokalee High, Alexander played in eight games for Auburn during its 2013 run to the SEC championship and BCS title game.
