Patricia Specter logged onto her computer in July and scanned the latest pieces of art up for auction at Fort Lauderdale-based Abington Auction Gallery.
Then she spotted it: The blue and white Pablo Picasso Madoura Vase. That vase, she said, held a special place in her heart, not only because it was part of an increasingly valuable Picasso collection, but because it was the same model that was stolen from her two years earlier.
And when she bought the vase and checked the serial number she realized it wasn't just the same model — it was the exact same vase.
