Pujol's Career Night Powers Bulls Past Houston

HOUSTON, TEXAS, FEB. 21, 2017 – Ariadna Pujol scored 24 points and the University of South Florida used a 24-point third quarter to pull away from Houston 79-50 Friday night at Hofheinz Pavilion.

Pujol (Mataro, Spain) was two points shy of her career high 26 points but set a new career high with 14 rebounds. It is the senior’s third career double-double and the second-consecutive game with at least 10 rebounds. Pujol shot 53 percent from the floor (10-of-19) and added one assist and one steal in 37 minutes.

Kitija Laksa (Riga, Latvia) added 24 points and Maria Jespersen (Arhus, Denmark) chipped in 12 points and six rebounds.
