The son of a longtime NBA point guard appears to be the final scholarship player on the 2016-17 roster.
Despite what you might have heard recently, USF does still plan to have a men’s basketball team next year, and one report is saying that the Bulls have recruited Michael Bibby, son of former NBA point guard Mike Bibby, to fill their final open scholarship for 2016-17.
The youngest Bibby, coached by his dad, averaged over 19 points a game in his senior year at Shadow Mountain High School in Phoenix. He added five assists and four rebounds per game as the Matadors won the Arizona Division II state championship.
