The owner of a South Florida-based prostitution ring with links to the Scott Rothstein scandal was sentenced to more than three years in federal prison Thursday.
Christian Fiorenza, 51, of Pompano Beach, admitted earlier this year that he ran a "high-end adult escort agency" that provided hookers for wealthy clients in South Florida and other cities around the U.S.
Fiorenza was hoping for a shorter prison term as a reward for information he provided to federal prosecutors investigating Rothstein Rosenfeldt Adler law firm partner Stuart Rosenfeldt's messy entanglement with one of Fiorenza's hookers.
In March 2011, Fiorenza told investigators that Rosenfeldt spoke with him after the prostitute's boyfriend threatened to expose Rosenfeldt's long-term sexual relationship with the woman, who is not named in court records.
