Owens Nets First Career Goal In Loss To No. 18 Hofstra

Tampa, Fla., Oct. 22, 2024 – South Florida (5-4-4) men's soccer fell, 3-2, to No. Hofstra (10-3-2) at Corbett Stadium in Tampa, Fla. on Tuesday night.

In the 5th minute of the first half, Teddy Baker connected on a right-footed goal on an assist from Owen Barnett that put the Pride out in front, 1-0. Hofstra extended their lead in the 22nd minute off a Jack O'Malley score set up after Felix Schaefer saved a shot from the Pride's Owen Barnett seconds before. The Bulls had four offensive chances but weren't able to capitalize heading into the break.
