The families of two Jupiter boys who have been missing at sea for over two weeks have called off their privately-led search, according to a statement released by the family via Facebook.
"We will never stop looking for our boys, Austin and Perry," the statement said. "We express a special debt of gratitude to the Palm Beach community for its generosity and outpouring of love and support. We ask that you join us in our prayer that one day Perry and Austin will be reunited with their families.”
The families of Austin Stephanos and Perry Cohen, as well as friends, banded together in the days after the boys' disappearance to search a wide swath of ocean by private plane and boat.
