#24 CB Johnny Ward
Junior, 6'0", 178 lbs.
Stats in 2014: Ward played in ten games at corner, starting in seven as he battled late-season injuries. He was one of the Bulls' most productive players in the secondary, totaling 36 tackles (one for a loss), and a pair of interceptions. His best game of his career to date was against East Carolina, where he had seven tackles and a pick.
Spot on Fall Depth Chart: Starting cornerback across from Deatrick Nichols, and holding off Lamar Robbins and Mazzi Wilkins.
How He Came to USF: For all his failures recruiting locally, Skip Holtz did a decent recruiting Georgia, a previously untapped area for the Bulls.
