Stats in 2014: Augustin Sanchez started all 12 games as middle linebacker and logged 65 tackles, including two for loss, an interception and a fumble returned for a touchdown.

How he came to USF: Sanchez went to Northeast High School in St. Pete, where he was a standout defensive end and a decent basketball forward. He was also offered by Marshall, FIU, Tulane, and some FCS schools.
