Stats in 2014: Alex appeared in 11 games, starting one against NC State. He was mainly used in run blocking, though he did see a few balls come his way toward the end of the season.

How He Came to USF: Slowly. He graduated from Charlotte High School (in Punta Gorda) back in 2011. While playing on the school basketball team, he wrecked his ACL, right before Signing Day. Skip Holtz went out of his way to say that USF would honor their scholarship offer.
