TAMPA, FLA., JULY 24, 2019 – USF senior Marcus Norman has been named to the 2019 Outland Trophy Award Preseason Watch List, making the watch list for the award recognizing the nation's most outstanding interior lineman for the second straight season.
Norman (Sebastian) becomes the third Bull named to a national award watch list prior to the 2019 season, joining senior tight end Mitchell Wilcox (Mackey Award) and junior defensive back Mike Hampton (Jim Thorpe Award).
A second team all-conference selection in 2017, Norman has started 34 straight games at right tackle for the Bulls and has helped plow the way for three straight 1,000-yard rushers, including Jordan Cronkrite who ran for 1,121 yards last season and will return for his senior campaign after missing the spring due to a minor injury.
