Fueled by a career start from redshirt sophomore ace LHP Shane McClanahan, the USF Bulls outmatched the Army West Point Black Knights from start to finish in a 12-0 rout, and the programs first ever combined no-hitter on Friday night at the USF Baseball Stadium.
“I feel good every game,” McClanahan said. “I go out there and I know my team’s got my back. I compete and I know my team.”
In front of dozens of MLB scouts, the Bulls lefty struck out a career-high 15 (FIFTEEN!) batters in six innings, allowing ZERO hits while walking three on 91 pitches.
