TAMPA (March 13, 2024) – No. 63 South Florida (9-7) bounced back on Wednesday afternoon from its first loss in over two weeks with a 7-0 triumph over Cleveland State (6-8). South Florida has won five of its last six matches overall and improved to 9-3 on its home court with Wednesday's win.
The Bulls suffered a narrow 4-3 loss on Tuesday afternoon which snapped a four-match winning streak, and responded in dominant fashion with its sweep of Cleveland State. USF convincingly won the doubles point and then claimed every singles match in straight sets.
Marta Falceto Font and Ireland Simme, who have played together on Court 2 previously, moved up to Court 1 on Wednesday and turned in a 6-2 win.
