DENVER, Colo., SEPT. 29, 2015 – No. 17 USF’s four-game winning streak came to an end with a 1-0 loss at No. 8 Denver on Tuesday night.
Karsten Hanlin scored his second goal of the season in the 73rd minute and Denver extended its home winning streak to 21 games. The Pioneers (8-0-1) are off to their best start since the 1983 season and appeared at No. 7 in the RPI this week.
USF (6-3-0) lost for the first time since falling to then-No.17 Indiana on Sept. 26 at Notre Dame’s Mike Berticelli Memorial Tournament.
