Tampa, Fla., May 13, 2023 – The University of South Florida track and field team finished another successful day at the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships on Saturday evening, despite a nearly five-hour lightning delay. The Bulls tally more qualifying athletes for the final heats tomorrow.
Nia Robinson started the Bulls off strong in the long jump after winning the conference championship title with a new USF and AAC record of 6.69 meters (21-11.5). Robinson surpassed the previous meet record by .11 meters. Shaniya Benjamin placed fifth overall with a mark of 5.
