Three former USF football standouts, wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling, defensive tackle Deadrin Senat, and quarterback Quinton Flowers, impressed scouts, coaches and teams this weekend at the annual NFL Combine in Indianapolis.
Former star wide receiver Valdes-Scantling showcased his impressive speed finishing with the second-fastest 40-yard dash time by a WR at 4.37. His time on Saturday clocked in quicker than former USF teammates Marlon Mack (4.50) and Rodney Adams (4.44)
The 6-foot-4, 206 pounder ran the fifth-fastest 40-yard dash by a wide receiver over the last three NFL Combines.
